SOLVEÏG, The Warrior

The period: The Scandinavian peoples in the pre-Roman period were called "the Norsemen."  

They traded with the rest of Europe, exchanging jewelry, weapons, furs, amber, and ivory. 

The "Viking Age" or "Viking Era" began much later, from 793 to 1066 AD.
