Summary of the previous part: The fleet of the Roman general Cassius surrounds the Norman ships. 

 Cassius wants to capture SOLVEÏG, wife of Erik the Victorious, alive. 

She decides to attack the Roman galleys to destroy as many as possible and teach the Romans a lesson they will never forget.

  The Normans manage to burn the first Roman galley… 

Immediately, Cassius gives the order to destroy all the Norman ships…
