Here is a series of stories about Julius Caesar, the Roman Proconsul, with his conquest of Gaul, his encounter with Cleopatra, his fight with Pompey, and his Egyptian campaign.

- The Gallic Wars -

- SEASON 1 -

Time period: The year is 51 BC. Proconsul Julius Caesar has won a decisive victory at the Siege of Alesia, where he receives the surrender of Vercingetorix. The Gallic Wars are practically over. But Gallic revolts are taking place in the Armorican Peninsula. Julius Caesar therefore continues the War and sends reinforcements to eliminate the last pockets of Gallic rebellion. He has sent General Gaius Graccus, commanding one of his legions, to prepare for his arrival in this region.

SEASON 2: Caesar's Wrath

Time period: Late 52 to early 51 BCE, Cleopatra VII, then aged around eighteen, was associated with the power of her father Ptolemy XII. A few months later, her father died and left a detailed will: upon his death, he designated Cleopatra and her younger brother, Ptolemy XIII, about ten years older, as his successors.

She would be married to him, as according to Ptolemaic custom, she could not reign alone. Her first three years of reign were difficult due to economic difficulties: famine from 50 to 48 BC, insufficient flooding of the Nile, and a political struggle between the eunuch Pothinus and the Egyptian general Achillas, who sought to set the siblings against each other.

Period: The year is 48 BC. Civil War has broken out in Italy. An open power struggle in Rome since 49 BC between Julius Caesar and Pompey has taken place.
