 This story is inspired by real events that took place 

in the struggle between Julius Caesar and Pompey, 

as well as Caesar's encounter with Cleopatra.

PART 3 : The Message

Summary of the previous part: Julius Caesar set fire to the Port of Alexandria and immediately left with his galleys, which were stationed there.  

The fire is now spreading throughout the city. 

The Egyptian General Achillas realizes, too late, the trap Caesar has set for his army, which is inside the city walls. He quickly leaves the city of Pharaoh to join a relief army arriving from Memphis... 

The rest of Caesar's fleet, which arrived at the last moment from the open sea and surprised the Egyptians, ran aground around Alexandria.  

Legionaries immediately disembarked and surrounded the city.  

And now, it is under siege: No one leaves or enters!
