Summary of the previous part: Julius Caesar's trackers discovered the camp where the emissary was being held. 

Julius Caesar decided to attack the camp at dawn while most of the Gauls were still asleep. 

And at dawn, the Romans surrounded it and eliminated all the Gallic lookouts with arrows to avoid raising the alarm.  

They prepared to fight hand-to-hand…
