- Episode 3: THE FALL OF ALESIA -

This story is inspired by historical events that took place during the Gallic Wars between Julius Caesar and the leader of the Gallic Tribal Alliance, Vercingetorix.

Part 3: ALESIA

Summary of the previous part: Vercingetorix decided to attack Julius Caesar's Roman Legionary Column with the help of a massive Gallic cavalry force entrusted to Vercingetorix by the Gallic leaders, believing he would gain the upper hand and that the Romans would be terrified and disorganized by this sudden cavalry charge...

Unfortunately for him, the Romans knew how to defend themselves and organized defensive formations in ORBIS formations, which killed many Gallic cavalrymen.

The Roman cavalry also arrived and exterminated many Gallic cavalrymen as well.

It was the Gallic cavalrymen who fled from this Roman counterattack, not the other way around as Vercingetorix had hoped, and Julius Caesar ordered them to be pursued and killed.
