 This story is inspired by real events that took place 

in the struggle between Julius Caesar and Pompey, 

as well as Caesar's encounter with Cleopatra.

PART 2 : ALEXANDRIA HAS FALLEN

Summary of the previous part: General Achillas' relief army and the Egyptian fleet sailing up the Nile were defeated. 

The Egyptian general Achillas was captured by the Romans, and Caesar ordered him to be beheaded and his head given to Pharaoh to signify his definitive defeat in the war. 

As Achillas was about to be beheaded by the Romans, Egyptian soldiers, sent by Arsinoe, Pharaoh's sister, to retrieve him, arrived and saved him. He was immediately taken to Pharaoh's palace.
