Part 2: THE EGYPTIAN WAR CHARIOTS

 

Summary of the previous part: Julius Caesar is preparing to confront the Egyptian General Achillas.

  Achillas has assembled a relief army to rescue the Pharaoh, who is besieged by Caesar's troops. 

Caesar has assembled an entire legion, cavalry, and ballistae against Achillas. 

They are now facing each other in a small sandy valley south of Alexandria.
