Part 2: THE SIGNAL

Summary of the previous part: Paulus Forticus delivers Julius Caesar's message to the Egyptian General Achillas inside the Sanctuary of Djouqed.

  At the same time, Centurion Speculus, who remained with the Roman column outside the Sanctuary, still smells a strange odor that he struggles to identify.

  Furthermore, Speculus fails to notice that all around them, the Roman sentries have been silently killed. 

 And none of the other Romans realize that numerous Egyptian soldiers are beginning to surround them...
