Summary of the previous part: A fire has just broken out in a Grand Hotel. The fire brigade from Fire Station 3 arrived very quickly, and the whole GHOSTBUSTERS team is there too...

They brought all their equipment in case the ghost tried to sabotage the operation again, and managed to catch him in the street...

And indeed, the main ladder at Fire Station 3 is no longer working and the water supply to the fire hose is blocked again...

Egon has detected ectoplasmic waves on the control panel of the Great Ladder and Peter starts to investigate whether the ghost is there...
