Summary of the previous part: The Captain of Fire Station 3 has called in the Ghostbusters to find the reasons for the technical problems that have been recurring for more than three weeks on his fire engines...

Doctor Egon SPENGLER detects a lot of ectoplasmic residue in the fire station and decides to call in his patient Louis TULLY, who hears spirit voices in his head...

And indeed, in the barracks, Louis TULLY hears a haunting phrase repeated: "It's the Captain's fault...".

After questioning the Captain of Fire Station 3, he explained that one of his firefighters had died three weeks ago, when the technical problems with the firefighters' equipment and vehicles began.

The Captain authorises the Ghostbusters to accompany them on missions to detect the presence of the deceased firefighter, just in case...

And just then, they all leave for a fire in a shop...
