as well as Caesar's encounter with Cleopatra.

PART 8 : The Valley of the "Ptolemies"

Summary of the previous part: The funeral ceremony for Ptolemy XIII has begun. 

His body was displayed to the people and then placed on a boat to travel up the Nile for burial in the Valley of the Kings.  

 

A river procession surrounded him. Julius Caesar followed in his galley, having been invited by Cleopatra to witness this momentous occasion.
